Annual Legislative Reception

The ASUW, alongside the Graduate / Professional Student Senate (GPSS) puts together a new legislative agenda each year, and will be releasing our agendas at Legislative Reception. This agenda will be comprised of issues facing students, and attendees will have a unique opportunity to sit down for dinner and engage in a discussion about real issues with actual students before the legislature begins session next year.

The Legislative Reception serves as a unique experience for students to share their stories, and continue to build a relationship between the UW student body and the legislature. Previous guest speakers have included Attorney General Bob Ferguson, Governor Jay Inslee, as well as students and administrative leaders from the University of Washington.

The reception serves as a space where  students not only meet their representatives but share their concerns in decision-making spaces. We hope to see you there!
